Got to be the best chinese take out in Wigan, very clean shop, you can see right in to the kitchens and watch them cooking, very pleasant and polite staff, who are more than willing to talk you through any thing on the menu, and do special orders, and the food is second to none. Even though I no longer live in the delivery area, I will go out of my way to get a meal from them. And when I did live in the delivery area, the service was always prompt and came with a smile.
My husband firmly recommends their sweet and sour chicken, and I can tell you I've never found a better fried rice meal than their Hot dragon fried rice, its fantastic.
Thoroughly recommend visiting this if you are ever in the area. -

Have tried a few when we came to the area, this is by far the best. Wouldn't consider going anywhere else as we have never had a bad meal.

While there are many Chinese takeaway's in the Wigan area, the only one we think of ordering from when we fancy a quick Chinese meal to eat at home, is Fired Wok. They have an extensive menu which is very reasonably priced, and you see your meal being cooked there and then while you wait.
I particularly enjoy the chicken, with chilli and black bean sauce, while my wife enjoys the sweet and sour chicken, chicken curry, chicken foo yung and the beef and mushroom (which she says is to die for). Portions are generous, even in the smaller "all in one box" specials. The staff are friendly and helpful and the place always looks clean.
For a quick, takeaway experience, I can't really fault it, hence 5 stars from me.
